Welcome to Maple Avenue Ms. Daley!

The weather is starting to become cold so we wanted to give Miss. Daley a warm welcome to Maple Avenue. She has subbed here before but this is the first time she will be here long term. So I decided to do an interview so that we can get to know her more!  Miss. Daley is the ELA teacher in Hathorn while Mrs. Phillips is on leave.

 

Where did you attend college?

SUNY (State University of New York) Onenta

Why did you want to become a teacher?

I had an inspiring English teacher who encouraged me to pursue a teaching career! (Mrs. Redman at the High School)

How long are you here with us?

Until February (January 26th)

How was going to school and being a first year teacher at the same time?
It kept me busy.

​

What do you want to do after you finish college in May?

Travel the world!

Where else have you taught?

Lake George High School and Oliver W. Winch Middle School

I’m thrilled to be here at Maple Avenue with the wonderful teachers and students of 8H
