Using WEVIDEO to make cool projects!
By: Dylan Osherov
Isn’t it cool that you can make a video just out of pictures, text, and music? In Mr. Todd’s 6R computer science class, students were using WeVideo, which is a website where you can make videos with music, pictures, text, transitions, and many other things.
We were able to play around and make our own videos, but then as an assignment everyone had to make a video about being late. From that starting point, the rest was up to us. Some people made scenarios, some listed the consequences, some people did both, and the rest did something else creative.
You can find this website on your clever page. In order to make a video, you have to go to the audio tab and add audio/music, go to the text tab and add some text, and go to stock media to add pictures and/or small videos. There are three lines in which you can add things. Text goes in the first line, audio in the third, and everything else on the second. For adding things from your computer or phone go to “My media”, then “import”, and then “browse to select”.
WeVideo is a great way to express creativity. By making these videos you can talk about anything, use it for a project, talk about yourself, overall, the possibilities are endless.
