Calling all teachers with pets—Animal Social Club invites you to post a picture of your pet on your classroom door! Animal Social Club director Mrs. Burns says she was inspired to do this because she loves to see people’s pets and hear their stories about them. It also lets the students look into their teacher’s lives instead of having the be “just their teacher”. Teachers have been encouraged to hang pictures of their colleges and their middle school selves, but never their pets. And animals make us smile, so why not share some positivity?
